About the Business
Specialties
We serve generous portions of food including steaks, Angus burgers, pizza, several types of fish and more. We also offer 20 beers on tap, many from the Olde Hickory micro-brewery just down the road. Patron can order 25 different wines by the glass, and many more by bottle, and we have the largest selection of liquor in a 4 state region.
History
Established in 1994.
Over 25 years ago, we started out on US Hwy 70 SW, a couple of miles down the road as a combined brewery and brew pub called the Olde Hickory Brewery. As our business grew the brewery moved to a downtown Hickory location, the original facility became Amos Howards Brew Pub and we opened the Olde Hickory Tap Room on Union Square.
Since then we've expanded the menu, and brought in hundreds of wines and liquors. We remain focused on serving quality food and carefully crafted beers in a friendly setting with plenty of local character!
