History

Established in 1996.

Originally located on Beach Road, Mulligan's relocated and expanded just south in Nags Head in 2006. Mulligan's is now a premier dining location on the Outer Banks with sunset and ocean views from our multiple decks. We serve Southern Coastal Cuisine, highlighting the area's local seafood and produce from area farms. We are also renowned for our burger, winning "Best Burger on the Beach" for many years, the most recent being Fall 2014. We also accommodate dog owners and their pets in our designated "Doggy Dining" area one of the few dog friendly dining locations on the beach. So come hang out where the locals are!

Born In Greece, raised in Connecticut. Gus found his way to the OBX via many successful restaurant  ventures, including Milton's Pizza. Gus at one time owned and operated 27 Milton's. Today he spends every minute of the day at Mulligan's. This restaurant is his soul. If you get a chance say hello, if he hasn't already beat you to it. Gus loves people and will talk to you for hours. Come by and see Gus and enjoy Mulligan's!
