History

Established in 2009.

Lebowski's Neighborhood Grill opened on March 30, 2009 in the Dilworth community of Charlotte, NC. It's locally owned and operated by Kirk Weaver and his daughters Jessica and Amelia. Their mission is to bring a full service, casual neighborhood restaurant where friends and family can relax and enjoy food, drinks, music and games. The classic neighborhood grill setting will put all at ease with warm colors, cold drinks and music that jogs the memory and moves your feet. And Yes, the movie "The Big Lebowski" helped inspire the name of the restaurant. Friendly, funny and a little irreverent, but that's just how we roll here at Lebowski's. Look for characters names and quotes from the movie to subtly turn up throughout the menu and decor.

Grew up on the West Side of Buffalo, NY. First restaurant opened was Standing Room Only Pub & Deli in Charlotte - 1980.  Township Grille opened in Matthews in 1987.  After selling Township in '97 took a twelve year sabatical but decided it was time for another round.  Newly opened Lebowski's Neighborhood Grill on East Blvd. was started in April, '09 with daughters Jessica and Amelia.
