History

Established in 2010.

HomeGrown opened in early October of 2010. As customers started to trickle in, we listened to what they wanted us to be and responded accordingly while staying true to our ethos of serving locally sourced food at affordable prices. Farmers also started to trickle in bringing local goodies, sometimes just swinging by after a market to sell us what was left. HomeGrown was established with the principle of serving local food at affordable prices, which positioned us perfectly to actually make a difference to real farmers and their quality of life. We decided early on that we would also be dedicated to contributing to area non-profits, believing that a large measure of a business's success is the positive contribution it makes in the surrounding community. Oh, and we're also a certified green restaurant. We're pretty darn proud of that! So that's a little about us.
