We're a southern mill town kitchen and craft cocktail bar, serving up chef-driven family-style southern comfort food for dinner throughout the week and brunch just Tues-Fri 9a-2p. Specialties? Fried chicken (and waffles!) and cocktails from our mixologist.
History
Established in 2016.
Haberdish is a mill town southern kitchen and craft cocktail bar run by a local Charlotte family. We serve up southern inspired food centered around the history of our mill town of North Charlotte (now known as NoDa) - including those ingredients (okra or fried chicken as examples), cooking techniques (pickling, frying, of course!), and deliciously-modernizing recipes from grandma's garden and kitchen.
With late 1800s and early 1900s migrations from the Appalachian Mountains and rural piedmont of North Carolina, you'll find we have regional influences in our dishes as well, and we're bringing touches of that cuisine forward to you.
What's with the name? HABERDISH combines the word haberdashery with dish... as we use the table to bring our mill town's history to life through food. Find out more about where we source our food on our website
