We are currently serving dinner Tuesday through Saturday nights starting at 4:45pm. Tables are first come first served. On Wednesday nights in the winter and spring we offer Locals Night, all adult entrees are discounted 25% for dine in. Locals night will begin the second Wednesday in October and usually runs through about late March. On Thursdays we offer our Sushi Menu in addition to our regular menu. Our entire menu is available for take out, however it is only available on a limited basis. To place a take out order please call 252.725.3374. We do take reservations for Valentines Day and New Years Eve.

History

Established in 1999.

Knock, knock. Who's there? Amos. Amos who? A mosquito! Not very funny, but it really is where we got our name. We had a picturesque, waterfront location. We had a unique, outdoorsy decor theme. We had a good start on a tasty menu. And, we had a long list of really bad names for a restaurant. In the fall of 1998 Hallock Cooper, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, decided to open a restaurant with the help of her parents Pam and Buddy Cooper and a few old family friends. They found a charming almost turnkey location on the Morehead City waterfront and in April of 1999 Amos Mosquito's opened for business. In 2003 the restaurant moved to its current location in Atlantic Beach overlooking the beautiful Bogue Sound.
