History

Established in 2012.

I was recently lucky enough to find a first edition copy of my favorite book as a child - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, the story of a young boy who goes on to inherit a chocolate factory. I've always loved candy and sweets and now I'm now able to realize by childhood fantasy and create my vision of opening The Sweet Shop NYC, a place where I will be able to combine my over 20 years of solid business experience in sales, marketing and customer service, along with my bigger than life personality and my passion for the sweet life (no pun intended) and start creating sweet memories for my customers. I am lucky to be joined by wife and business partner who is both a visionary and an award-winning designer. My goal is to create an Experience! Not just to "exceed our customer's expectations". We want to take them on a journey, a little step back in time. Our shop won't be like any other place they've ever been before. It will be a unique combination of both old and new.
