Almost everything is scratch-made. We cure and smoke our own bacon (of course)! Our burgers are ground from Angus chuck, short rib and brisket from local Donahue Farms beef. We brine our cucumbers to make our pickles. We make our own BBQ sauce that we call our MOAB sauce (Mother Of All BBQ). We hand-cut our fries and serve them with our homemade ketchup. Our wings (Grand Champion Winner at Wing Wars) are smoked in-house and tossed in our homemade wing sauces. Our homemade brisket chili was winner of Best Chili at the Holiday Stroll. Our pulled pork and wings are seasoned with our signature Piggy Spice and hickory-smoked. Most of our sauces, dressings and condiments are house-made. As a family business, my wife and I opened The Pickled Pig to serve the Lake Placid area with a restaurant and pub that provides an experience that exceeds expectations and that we are proud to be associated with.  Our vision was to provide casual, made from scratch food in an environment that is relaxed and fun: "snouty, but never snooty," as we say.  From homemade ketchup, mayo, and mustard to homemade pickles, bacon and BBQ, we are committed to serving locally sourced and homemade cuisine.  Please, come in and join us and be a part of the Pickled Pig family.
