About the Business

Specialties

Shadows on the Hudson is an award winning waterfront restaurant located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Our building is perched on a cliff 40 feet above the Hudson River and just 50 feet from its eastern bank. This prime location affords us one-of-a-kind, truly grand views of the Mid-Hudson Bridge to the north and a majestic riverview to the south. We specialize in family friendly seasonal dishes, seafood, and steaks.

History

Established in 2007.

When Shadows began its renovation in April 2017, as a team we saw an opportunity to provide Shadows on the Hudson with a true identity, something it has struggled with for so long. We recognized this opportunity to develop into an elegant and refined restaurant where we elevated our service to the level of fine dining.
