We specialize in homemade pasta and breads, soups, salads, non pasta entrees, self service lunches and full service dinners. We also have a full bar featuring an extensive selection of wines offered by the glass. The interior space is urban and upbeat with an exposed kitchen. In the warmer months we offer outside dining in our private courtyard.

History

Established in 1982.

A couple of restless college students with a background in restaurant service and cooking, decided to offer Syracuse something fun and vibrant in an otherwise abandoned downtown. Twenty plus years later, Pastabilities, now situated in the center of a thriving downtown district, draws thousands of locals, out of town visitors and college students to and through it's doors. Famous for their Spicy Hot Tomato Oil and their homemade pasta and Stretch Bread, Pastabilities is certainly deserving of its landmark status. In the year 2000, Pastabilities opened, Pasta's Daily Bread, across the street from the restaurant, where they painstakingly make the breads that made them famous.
