With old-fashioned milkshakes and a hearty menu of home favorites, Lake Effect has become a popular destination for locals and travelers. The Curtin family's decision to switch to a menu with a focus on meats, fruits and vegetables from Western New York's farms landed it a starring role on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" featuring Guy Fieri

Welcome to the Lake Effect Diner. It is our pleasure to offer the best quality food prepared by using age old traditional methods to bring you the most wholesome foods available. We cut no corners, curing and smoking meats(which can take over a week to prepare), grinding fresh Burgers and Sausages and using fresh local hormone free meats, dairy and produce whenever possible. The Diner is a circa 1952 Mountain View Diner vin#446 it was saved from demolition from Wayne Pennsylvania to Buffalo in 2001. Restored and equipped with a modern state of the art kitchen and a knowledgeable and passionate staff, the Lake Effect Diner continues to humbly serve the best we can and to simply make you, our guest, happy!
