With 18 years experience managing all aspects of a restaurant business, Thawatchai began his journey as a waiter & today finds himself the owner of several popular restaurants in NYC. This list of restaurants include but are not limited to Kitchen 79 in Jackson Heights & Topaz Noodle Bar in Midtown. After noticing a lack of Thai food options in the Bushwich neighborhood of Brooklyn, Thawatchai finally secured a location which gave him the opportunity to open the Thai restaurant now known as Klom Klorm. Klom Klorm translates to "tasty" in Thai. The idea involved bringing known favorite & new authentic Thai dishes with flavors reminiscent of Bangkok to Bushwick. In just a short period of time this idea proved to be successful & introduced Thai food & culture to the community we now call family. People embraced the small business & continue to show great support ever since.
