History
Established in 1925.
Henry's Diner started it's life in June 1925 when Henry Couture decided to start a Burlington diner in a railroad dining car from Mahoney's in Bayonne, NJ. In 1935, under the management of Frank Goldstein, the west wall was opened to provide room for more seating. In 1958 the kitchen area was expanded and more dining space was added. A severe fire on Labor Day , September 1, 1969 forced co-owners Frank Aand Roberta Goldstein to close temporarily. On February 21, 1970 the new Henry's opened. In March of 1982 Frank Goldstein passed away. For the next decade or so, serveral members of the Goldstein family operated Henry's. In August 2004, Bill & Naomi Maglaris and family became the owners and remain the present operators of the diner. Since 2004 most of the equipment has been replaced including a new walk-in cooler/freezer, new lighting and color theme. But most importantly the quality of Henry's food remains flavorful, home-cooked food that you grew to love years ago.
