Located at the Kew Gardens stop of the Long Island Railroad, Austin's Steak and Ale House provides an atmosphere that infuses a comfortable pub-styled ambience with a tap room offering a vast selection of domestic and international beer labels and spirits. Boasting one of the largest beer selections in Queens, Austin's Steak and Ale House has twenty individual tap lines that controls each beer for temperature and pressure settings, which assures a perfect pour everytime. Every night Austin's provides menu specials ranging from Fresh Roasted Prime Rib, Lobster Night, and Steak and Ale pairings along with specialty priced appetizers, wings and sports specials in the bar. The Dining Room is adorned in dark woods and etched glass surrounded by French doors and local artwork. Austin's offers an al Fresco patio dining in the Summer months.

History

Established in 1992.

Austin's was established by Restauranteur Mark Boccia, also owner of Bourbon Street in Bayside along with long time friends John Ryan and Tony Truzzilino. Their dream was to open a bar and pub which would house a number of domestic and imported beers and fine pub cuisine. They chose the boasting location in Kew Gardens and have since expanded the restaurant to hold a private dining area for catered events. All three partners are very active in the Queens communitiy and are often seen at various fundraisers and donating tirelessly to charitable events. Austin's added the Trackside Cafe, which offers al fresco dining in the Summer months. The restaurant continues to flourish with many special events and we constantly keep on trend with dining, beer and spirit offerings.
