Now open for 10 months a year, with improved heat/AC, there's never an excuse to not take 10 and join the Gig Shack Family!

History

Established in 2006.

If your want the whole story be sure to read "Montauk Tango" by Dr. Lewis Gross. The short of it is that a family with culinary background found themselves transplanted to Montauk after 9/11. A couple years later and they found themselves proud owners of a cafe on Main Street. By all means rookies the family has since grown and learned a thing or two making them one of the most popular places for reall people in Montauk!

However, having worked for other businesses during the off seasons, the opportunity it affords to et involved in every aspect of a restaurant is unbeatable. Working side by side, my brothers, friends and family to make the best drinks, the best food, and the best place we can is a truly special thing!
