Expect intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on the 10' diameter barbacoa grill. History

Established in 2014.

Part of the 1905 Family of Restaurants, Ulele is a native-inspired concept located in a lovingly restored 1903 water pumping station. The private restaurant group includes seven Columbia Restaurants and Cafes in Florida as well as Casa Santo Stefano, Goody Goody Burgers and Cha Cha Coconuts. The initial Columbia Restaurant opened in 1905 in Tampa's historic Ybor City. The business has been continuously owned by the Gonzmart family since then.

Richard Gonzmart is the fourth generation owner of the Columbia Restaurant Group, which includes Ulele. Starting with the original Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City in 1905, the Columbia is the oldest restaurant in Florida and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world. There are seven Columbia locations in Florida. Continuously owned by the founding family, the Columbia Restaurant Group also owns and manages Ulele, Cha Cha Coconuts and other brands.
