The Field is a little piece of Ireland in South Florida. Under the giant banyan tree this cozy pub started life as a small cottage and has five dining rooms, a pub and bar, a large outdoor patio and an outdoor patio bar too. Irish-American cuisine featuring pub favorites like Fish & Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef & Cabbage along with steaks, chops and fresh seafood. Daily lunch and dinner specials with Happy Hour at our bar Mon-Fri from 3-7pm. Live music and entertainment takes center stage with Ian Millar from The Irish Rovers every Thur, Fri and Sat. Tuesdays: Brian Wright hosts Theme Trivia, with The Shamrock Comedy Club also once per month. Sundays feature Ade Peever performing acoustic Irish, folk and contemporary music.

History

Established in 2001.

The Field Irish Pub & Eatery is in South Broward on Griffin Road and is easily accessible from I-95 (1 mile west) or the Turnpike (1 mile east). Our front yard has a historic banyan tree that covers our outdoor bar and patio. The building (previously The Spiced Apple) is steeped in history and resembles an old Irish farmhouse with wooden walls and floors and sprawling rooms with cozy nooks and crannies adorned with vintage books and memorabilia from Ireland. Our inside center bar overlooks the stage and music area where live music is played five nights (with real, traditional Irish music Thurs-Sat).
