History
Established in 2014.
The story of The Alchemist Café Fort Lauderdale began in 2014 in Wilton Manors, FL. in an old house surrounded by a garden. Specialties became needs; open-faced sandwiches, pizzas, salads, specialty teas and the mega-famous Alchemist Iced Coffee. The Alchemist started to call the attention of locals and more space was needed to keep up with the growing demand. We roast our own coffee in-house, a process to witness while enjoying your food and drinks. It just does not get any fresher than that! Today, locals mingle and share peacefully with visitors from all over the country, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Finland, Australia, and Japan. We are humbled and passionate to serve those who arrive daily past our doors and are eager to know what the buzz is all about. We know we will not have a second chance for a first impression. After 31 years as a TV Producer/Director/Editor/Writer for Telemundo | NBCUniversal, Carlos arrived to the food industry with humble beginnings, running food, washing dishes and sweeping floors. And as he puts it, “Today, dreams are big, commitment is total and wisdom precedes everything because everything belongs to the Lord”. Amen to that!
