History
Established in 2011.
In the fall of 2011 Shimuja opened the doors in its first restaurant outside of Kagoshima , Japan. Our origins were a small space composed of an open kitchen with seating of only 10 chairs. From the humble beginnings, Shimuja has grown to international popularity. Our good fortune now expands to south Florida. It’s our hope is to build a strong regional base of friends and family one bowl of ramen at the time.
