The Riverhouse Waterfront is one location with multiple waterfront dining experiences. It is located at the end of the pier at Regatta Pointe Marina. On the ground level we have the Reef & Grill. This local favorite has a casual atmosphere featuring indoor and outdoor seating, full liquor sit down bar, weekly specials, daily happy hour, and a large menu featuring seafood, burgers, vegetarian options and more. Great for kids, groups, and date nights. Located on the second floor of the Riverhouse, just above the long established Reef & Grill, the Second Floor is an elevated coastal kitchen delivering a gourmet, abbreviated menu in a warm, historically inspired space inviting you to sit down & stay awhile. Experience something decadent; a place to relax and share conversation over cocktails, coffees & confections. Our Second Floor is open Thursday thru Saturday evenings. History

Established in 2009.

The Riverhouse is located at Regatta Pointe Marina on the historic mile-wide Manatee River. The marina and restaurant were originally built in 1980. Dating back to the 1850's, this waterfront site was home to Palmetto's first settlers. Some of the first shipping piers for Manatee County and Tampa Bay were at this historic waterfront. The Riverhouse sits on a natural island. In the 1950's, a wooden pier linked the island to the mainland. In 1987, the VanDerNoord family purchased the marina and restaurant, and still operate it today. In 2006, the second floor restaurant was closed and converted to a spectacular banquet facility. In 2009 construction was completed of a complete remake of the ground floor restaurant, and Riverhouse Reef & Grill was opened! Since that time, Riverhouse Reef & Grill has quickly become a favorite local waterfront dining destination.

The VanDerNoord family launched Riverhouse Reef & Grill in 2009.  The Riverhouse is dedicated to Excellence in Waterfront Casual Fine Dining.  We specialize in fresh local seafood, global seafood selections, Certified Angus Beef and Steaks, and fresh salad creations. Breathtaking views will be experienced by all at The Riverhouse - along with excellent food and amazing service!We are a family company and are committed to serving our customers, our employees, our vendors and our community. Manatee County has been our home since 1985 and there is NO better place to work and live than our beautiful community! We are a proud supporter of the many local schools and community organizations in our area including Desoto Heritage, Palmetto High School, Manatee High School, Bradenton Christian School, Palmetto Charter School, Palmetto Elementary, Family Life Community School, CareNet, the YMCA, and The Joy FM.
