We are the oldest restaurant and bar in Key West. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. All of our food is fresh and simply prepared. Build your own omelets are great as well as a vast array of breakfast items. Accompany your meal with fresh squeezed orange juice or Mimosa. Fresh fish sandwiches and housemade burgers as well as homemade soups are lunch favorites. Fresh squeezed Margaritas are wonderful. Try the Steak Smothered in Porkchops or Fish of the Day prepared one of our several ways for dinner. Thanksgiving Dinner every Thursday. Fully licensed and dog friendly. Happy Hour daily 4-6:30 features 1/2 price oysters both baked and raw and our Margaritas.
History
Established in 1909.
Originally opened in 1909 at 202 Duval St., Pepe's Cafe became a popular eating and meeting place and was open from the early morning until the wee hours. Pepe's remained on Duval St. through the depression years and both World Wars. The business moved to Catherine St. in the building where El Siboney now resides and spent less than 2 years at that location before moving to it's present location on Caroline St. The neighborhood was very busy due to the fishing and shrimping industry. Pepe's remains a gathering place for locals and tourists alike.
