History
Established in 2000.
The "Lobster Pot" originally established in Cape Cod in 1940 by Ralph Medeiros, the son of a Portuguese fisherman and his wife Adeline. Fresh fish and lobster were caught daily by the family, which helped create the fresh taste the restaurant was known for. Several of the kids including Glen Medeiros were born above the Lobster Pot Restaurant. Glen got involved at a very young age at the restaurant and eventually went on to The Culinary Institute of America in New Haven Connecticut. Glen never lost his dream of opening a New England style seafood restaurant. With his wife Kathy and two sons, Tony and Mark, Glen's dream came true in the center of Siesta Key Village when Lobster Pot opened in 2000. The heritage proudly carries on and we strive to provide the best service and dining experience to our guests.
