Previously Becker was employed as a line cook at Governors Run Golf and Country Club in Carlyle Illinois Later he became the Food and Beverage manager at Hilton Golf and Country Club St. Louis, Missouri. He was also a partner at Eli's, a restaurant and lounge in Carlyle, Illinois.​​ EJ's Bayfront Cafe is a fun and charming restaurant right on the water at Bayfront in Naples serving all sorts of great food for breakfast or lunch.
