Bunnie Cakes is the first vegan/ gluten free/ nut free bakery in Miami Florida. We do not use any animal products and we are also completely nut free. We specialized in cupcakes, cakes, brownies, cookies, cake pops. Our bakery and products have been featured in the Food Network getting rave reviews. We are also certified kosher/ parve by Kosher Miami.

History

Established in 2009.

My name is Mariana Cortez, I am a vegan mother of 5... two of them were allergic to dairy. I founded Bunnie Cakes in 2009 after a failed attempt to find a vegan birthday cake for my oldest son who was turning 2. My grandmother who was my inspiration and an awesome baker gave me a couple recipes that I adapted and made them vegan I started baking out of my home kitchen and left my corporate job after I found a couple of restaurants where to sell our cupcakes. Today Bunnie Cakes can be found in many wholesale locations around Miami and our very own storefront. Each of our cupcakes come with a tiny heart as a decoration ... my heart is literally in each of them. Hope you enjoy our journey and thank you for your support

My name is Mariana and I am the owner of Bunnie Cakes. As a mother of 5 I found there was a lack in the market of an alternative/ healthy bakeries and pastries. I started baking out of my house, and eventually our production grew due to the high demand in the market. This company is my dream come true, it is so rewarding for me to make every kid and every parent smile and enjoy pastries that were almost non existent in South Florida.
