Established in 1976.

Voted "Tampa Bay's Best Waterfront Restaurant" This landmark Dunedin Restaurant offers casual waterfront dining in a sophisticated setting, with crisp linen tablecloths and sparkling place settings and stunning waterfront views of St. Joseph Sound, Honeymoon and Caledesi Islands. Peter Kreuziger and Karl Riedl founded and operated the restaurant since 1976. The founders sold the restaurant in 2022. The leader of the new organization Matthew Loder Sr is the patriarch of a multi generational Pinellas County Florida family restaurant business. Matthew Sr , his Crabby Bills family and team look forward to maintaining this most special restaurant for many years to come. The Bon Appetit is maintained as it’s own unique waterfront restaurant and brand.

Manager

Christian was born and raised in Austria, has over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and is our General Manager at the Bon Appétit. After he completed his studies in Restaurant and Hotel Management, Christian decided he wanted to see more of the world. He began his hospitality career aboard cruise ships, managing Restaurant and Hotel operations. In 2002, Christian married his wife Penny and decided to trade the high seas for a home base in Port Richey, FL. When he’s not at Bon Appétit ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience, he enjoys spending time outdoors, at the beach or traveling overseas.
