We base our entire menu around a stunning wood-fired brick oven hand crafted by the Ferrara's; a 3rd generation Neapolitan family. From every seat you can see and hear the crackling of the logs, flames flickering with blazing heat encompassing every hand-crafted pizza. From gourmet pizza, home-made pasta, antipasti's, and classic home-made desserts you will truly love the authentic culinary experience. Brunch is served Saturday's and Sunday's from 11am-2pm! Our pizza is thin and soft with a slight crisp to the crust; topped with ingredients imported from Italy or locally grown and organic. History

Established in 2016.

Out of passion, tradition, hard work and integrity, Bavaro's opened its doors in March 2009 as the first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida. Determined to share their family recipes with the world, Dan Bavaro, his wife Anna-Maria, and their five (beautiful) children packed their U-Haul, left their friends and family, drove from New Jersey to Tampa, and set out to provide for others the same love, energy, quality, and authenticity that they experienced around their own dinner table. A company committed to the art and craft of Neapolitan pizza, Bavaro's continues to stay true to tradition by using hand-crafted, wood-fired brick ovens designed by third-generation Neapolitan craftsmen, a 100-year-old yeast culture, and top-of-the-line ingredients sourced directly from Italy.

Bavaro's came to be in March 2009 when Dan Bavaro along with his wife, Anna-Maria, and five children left New Jersey to open their first restaurant in downtown Tampa, Florida at the corner of Franklin and Twiggs.
