History

Established in 2001.

Sam Waez, our founder, opened the doors of Acropolis Greek Taverna in 2001, but its foundation was established 30 years earlier in the beautiful island of Greece. Being the youngest of eight children, meals at the Waez home were always filled with amazing flavors, loud laughter, dancing, and all of the great traditions that greek culture ingrains. Sam developed a passion for Greek food, Greek wine, and Greek fun. After learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business after he made it to the United states, he worked with a team to create a thriving concept that is well established and will continue to grow This is an exciting to join Sam and the rest of Acropolis greek taverna crew on an amazing journey of sharing, dancing, laughter, great food, and success!
