History

Established in 1964.

Vitellos began in the 1960s as a small sandwich shop and quickly blossomed into one of the San Fernando Valley's most revered, classic restaurants. Known for its authentic Italian cuisine and a happening jazz club upstairs, Vitellos became a hot spot for good food and night life, hosting the Rat Pack and many other notable guests on their evenings out. Vitellos is excited to usher in a new era for both the restaurant and the club upstairs with a remodel and a few changes around the restaurant. Windows now open up to the heart of the Tujunga Village, we have a beautiful new bar with skilled mixologists crafting new and exciting drinks and while we still serve authentic, classic Italian food, we have added some fresh options to our menu for diners looking to try something new. We have also remodeled the club upstairs and are hosting live music every night of the week. From jazz to cabaret to R&B to Latin music, there is something for everyone happening Upstairs at Vitellos.
