History

Established in 1971.

The dealership owes much of its success to its owner, David Wilson. Mr. Wilson worked his way through college selling cars in Iowa. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 1970, he opted to stay in the car business rather than work on the family farm or pursue a teaching career. David Wilson traveled to Phoenix, Arizona where he joined Covey Lincoln/Mercury. He worked his way to General Manager before he arrived at Toyota of Orange in 1982. At the urging of Bob Hix, Mr. Wilson came to California to manage a Lincoln-Mercury dealership. Upon arrival, however, he opted to manage Toyota of Orange instead. The dealership immediately began to flourish - doubling its sales by the following year with David as the Vice President and General Manager. In 1985, David Wilson purchased the dealership; the rest, as they say, is history. Mr. Wilson is now the Owner and President of 8 Toyota dealerships, 3 Lexus dealerships, 3 Honda dealerships, 2 Ford dealerships, 1 Mazda dealersh
