Well, I specialize simply in the love of what I do. Overwhelming at times my success, I am proud of to say I think people are amazing and my staff is most important to me. I am a perfectionist...but perfection is owned by the individual...I am hard to work for but loyal and honored to work along side of the most amazing staff there is. THEY are loyal and dedicated to being working hard to accomplish our goals:) I do not SAY I use the freshest quality ingredients...I DO! Lastly keep you comments to lack luster food and slow service...it is sad when people call people who are working hard to earn a living negative descriptives. It makes them sad to read it when they are working so hard. I am here writing to you all because they were sad about what they read. History

Established in 1995.

I started in a small 800 ft cafe in 1995, built a thriving location. Most would say would never happen, but it did...all by word of mouth...eventually my landlord would pass away and the struggles to hold on were lost. I was offered to Sublet a location during the day on Valley View in El Sobrante....but not being in control of my surroundings led me to begin my quest for a location to call my own...I looked in El Sobrante, Orinda, Pinole Vallejo and had finally settled on Albany. Within a few days Pinole location presented itself and it was all I could ever dream of, when I stepped threw the doors I knew this would be my new place. A flurry of emotion overwhelmed me, but I knew this was it. I have never wanted anything more than to create simple classic meals, and I think I have finally matched the location to the food. I am humbled by the experience and thankful for all that has transpired to culminate in Tina's Place of Pinole. Tina
