About the Business

Specialties

Gluten free Mochi Bakery offering foods and drinks inspired by our upbringing as Third Culture kids. Mixing hyper local ingredients like butters and dairy from Sonoma, California and coconut sugars from Indonesia. Every pastry, food, and drink has a story to tell.

History

Established in 2017.

Chef Sam and Wenter dated for 9 months before starting the bakery officially in April 2017 with just the Mochi Muffin - it was a 2 man show for the first 8 months, doing everything themselves from baking, dishwashing, delivering, invoicing, everything! The bakery quickly grew to a team of 18+ full timers servicing over 60+ wholesale accounts throughout the Bay Area with their own Retail location in West Berkeley where they showcase the full Third Culture experience. The bakery exists because of love and hopes to share that love one Mochi Muffin at a time.
