Full production winery located 2 blocks from the beach. Solterra sources grapes from premier regions in northern/central California, Valle de Guadalupe, and local vineyards. We also feature a full kitchen that has Mediterranean style tapas that pair with the types of wine that we produce. We also feature happy hour daily from 3:00PM- 5:30 PM and all day/night Monday! San Diego Magazine recently rated us their Critic's Pick- the top wine bar in San Diego! We also have a bocce ball court and demonstration vineyard so there are many areas to host your next party or event!

Established in 2013.
Chris, the owner has been producing wine since 1999 and has sold to many of the top restaurants in Southern California. His dream was to open a new facility to pair his wines with delicious cuisine.

Started winemaking 18 years ago and fell in love with the process. Opened Solterra in 2013 after selling my wines to many restaurants and wine shops. I am really proud of our family like staff that we have and the pride they take in ensuring that our customers have a great experience. We just reopened our barrel room for events and dining and should begin distillation of brandy onsite within the year!
