Established in 2014.
Shakewell is a neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant. The menu is filled with our favorites from countries like Spain, Turkey, and North Africa with our own special twists. The bar features cocktails created with ingredients made here and sourced from local purveyors, just like we do in the kitchen. We are proud to be a 2015 Michelin Guide recommended restaurant. Our owners are both of Top Chef alumni and are proud to call Oakland their home.
