Señor Grubby's started in 2008 by a group of local guys looking to put a twist on the local Mexican fair. After numerous trips to Mexico and local Mexican & American breakfast spots, they noticed missing elements that they wanted to highlight. Grubby's is located in the heart of downtown Carlsbad, California just blocks from the beach. Considered a local spot for many Carlsbad residents, Grubby's offers delicious and unique Mexican food, beer, and wine. Providing a casual fun setting for families and friends of all ages you'll find yourself smiling more with every visit.

Established in 2008.
We are group of Friends that grew up here in Southern California most of us from Carlsbad. A few of us where apart of the "Los Tacos" phenomenon in Oceanside and Temecula. So what we wanted to do here is create a true Southern California dining experience. Creating a casual, laid back atmosphere with awesome food and service combined with a great craft beer selection to compliment our food. We also offer a simple but tasty wine selection to satisfy your taste buds. So come on in and give us a try and yourself an experience you deserve! :-) - "California Grub"
