No matter what culture it's from or what ingredients are used, food has a way of uniting people. So, it's no surprise that's exactly what brought Sylvia and Juan together over a decade ago. Their marriage and combined love of food paved the way for S & J Gran Cafe -- a place where locals and tourists alike can sit together and enjoy homemade Mexican breakfast and lunch dishes, including Sylvia's personal favorite: huevos motuleños. Here you can always expect a meal made with love by friendly faces who are happy to see you. After all, you're part of the family.

History

Established in 2012.

S & J Gran Cafe started in February of 2012 as a coffee shop. After a year in business, a kitchen was installed -- that is how S & J began to serve brunch to its patrons. We recently started serving beer to accompany your meal and are working to expand dinner hours and a larger rear patio location. We look forward to serving our local community and growing as a business in the coming years.

Silvia and Juan met in 2004 at a restaurant in the city of Orange, CA, and they married in 2006. Since they met, they have been in the hospitality industry have gained experience throughout the years. The two realized they loved the hospitality industry and decided to create S & J Gran Cafe.
