The world doesn't need another café. You know this. We know this. And yet, here we are. Why? Because what the world does need is connection. People are busy. We spend a majority of our days bumping into one another without noticing. Our eyes are on phones and our noses in laptops, working, staying busy, and attempting some semblance of relationship. Truth is, we're not actually connecting at all. Not authentically. We believe that people need a more genuine type of contact... Something real. Public Square is a place for exactly that: a place to see and be seen, a place to hear and be heard, and a place to serve and be served. We will do this in three ways: coffee, culture, and cause. If we're going to brew coffee, we want to do it right. Public Square is a local-family owned specialty coffee roaster spotlighting delicious direct-trade coffees sourced by some of the best growers and farmers from around the world. Also, we feature our own curated artisanal teas and many in-house food options like our famous fresh-baked scones and assorted flavored butters. On top off that we're partnering with the most talented and friendly baristas we can find to serve and educate customers at the highest standards. Every drink is crafted, brewed to specifications demanded by top-tier recipes. Enjoy!

Established in 2016.
Our shop replaced the local favorite spot, Cosmos Coffee Shop. We have significantly upgraded the space and the menu, while also honoring the history of this beautiful location. We are a truly local-family run business that cares about the history and future of this great city.
