Once you've located our secrets entrance, you will venture down underground into our exclusive venue, and be transported back to the 1920's. We are the ideal spot for those who do not simply desire to read or watch films about the Great Gatsby lifestyle, they'd rather live it. We have an incredible rotation of bands that play live music, and our masterfully created cocktails are second to none in San Diego. Our most popular cocktails include Cocktails I'm Sailing Away, Not a Morning Person, Banana Hammock, So Hip It's Stirred Whether escaping daily life on a weekday evening or celebrating a milestone such as a birthday, business events, bachelor party or bachelorette party, you are sure to have a cultivated, classic experience at San Diego's secret bar - open Tuesday through Sunday nights. Dress code is enforced Friday & Saturday. Please help us keep the 1920s vibe! Gentleman, please no athletic gear, graphic T's, shorts or ball caps. It's simply about showing up, spotting our unassuming Law Office door and seeing where this underground venue of the San Diego nightlife scene will take you. This chic, secret bar tends to fill up with fellow drink and music enthusiasts quite quickly, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. To make sure you're one of the lucky ones to experience this debonair San Diego bar, we recommend coming before 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays if you have a group of 6 or more.

GBOD Hospitality Group was founded in 2012 by brothers Raymond and Patrick Davoudi in San Diego with the opening of their first restaurant, Mezé Greek Fusion in the famous Gaslamp District. In 2014, the brothers had an opportunity to move and expand Meze to its current location in East Village. They also added two new partners, Joe Santos who has an extensive background in hospitality management and operations; and Aleko Achtipes, an experienced chef and back-of-house operations manager.
