Chef Makani was born and raised in Hawaii where her compassion for the land began and dedication to organic cooking grew. Trained at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco & Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, she has cooked in kitchens all over the world. A mom and wife, Makani puts heart into everything she does and believes that quality comes from that extra bit of love in every culinary creation.
