History

Established in 1990.

We started out in 1990 with our first location in Pomona, California with Pho (beef noodle soup) was our specialty. Now we have more than 8 locations through out California. We focus mostly on freshness and try to get local fresh products as much as we can. For example, we purchase freshly roast coffee beans from Klatch Coffee (Upland, CA) and Gavina Coffee in the Los Angeles area, fresh basil from local farmers seasonally, Alta-Dena milk products from City of Industry, CA, bean sprouts in El Monte, and rice noodle from Ontario, CA. We use home grown lime and herbs whenever available. Seasonal fruits like guavas, persimmons, etc. are availble every autumm.

I started out working for Pho Ha since the restaurant opened in 1990 as a part time employee and now as full time since 1997.  I attended Mt.Sac and Cal-Poly Pomona in the early 90's and still continue to learn more about coffee, tea, make better choices in choosing all of the ingredients we use to serve our guests.  I have attended many restaurant seminars to further bringing great restaurant experiences to our guests.  I love local products because of their freshness and try to bring them to our restaurants as much as possible.
