The Manna's family back in Eritrea grow the peppers, dry them, and crush them along with other ingredients to make this unique spice. Injera, which also serves as the silverware, is made from a grain called teff which comes from Ethiopia. It is fermented for three days and baked in a flat oven and is delicious.
