It is known for its unique way of cooking and serving. The preparation consists in using a clay pot to cook the seafood and vegetables. The ingredients include the seafood itself , onions, tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, coconut milk and "urucum essence". The moqueca is served on the same clay pot it was cooked. The restaurant is family owned and operated. The owners created an environment that shows the art, culture and music from their country. "

Maria Gloria Sarcinelli, Brazilian from Vitoria, Espirito Santo, came to USA to work in restaurant business in 2003. Food lover, she started cooking as a hobby since she got married in 1983. Her husband was from a fishermen family and they love cooking and eating seafood. The tradition of cooking and serving the seafood in clay pots was always a passion and she had the idea of opening a Brazilian Seafood restaurant in the USA. " I always wanted to present another variety of Brazilian Cuisine to the american, since the majority of Brazilian restaurants in this country are steak houses" said Gloria.
