History

Established in 2014.

Masters Kitchen and Cocktail, an airy eatery fashioned from a 1930s auto shop, is located in the heart of South Oceanside, California. The former auto part and drag shop was purchased by the Jubela family in the 1970s, and eventually revamped into a restaurant and bar. Owner Ryan Jubela worked to transform the industrial space with beautiful custom fixtures, blooming plant life and windows to embrace the natural sunlight, all while maintaining the building's historical integrity. Located blocks from the beach, Masters offers an inviting dining experience and traditional craft cocktails reminiscent of the 1920s. With a masterful combination of authentic character, history and fresh, seasonal cuisine, the local eatery provides a sanctuary for reminiscent auto shop employees and new craft cocktail enthusiasts.
