History
Established in 2003.
The story of Mama Carpino's began when my father was a young child. Watching his family in the pizza business, in New York sparked a desire for him to one day own his very own Italian restaurant. In 2002, my father bought the historic Jilly's restaurant in Apple Valley. Jilly's was known as the restaurant that Roy Rogers frequented. The building was in complete disarray but my family chose to restore the building, rather than demolish it. After a laborious year, Mama Carpino's opened in September 2003. The restaurant was a huge success from the beginning. Our small restaurant was so successful that we were able to create an addition in 2006. The restaurant was originally 3400 sq. ft and it is now 5,000 sq. ft. My family and I are so grateful every single day for the amazing success of our "family" restaurant.
