Chef Michael, started cooking professionally because of his passion and love for food and seeing people enjoy good meals.  He started cooking with his mother around the age of seven and hasn't stopped since. Not only did he name the restaurant after his mother, Lee Esther, but alot of his inspiration and passion for good Creole and Cajun food come from her and the love that she put into the meals she prepared for him as a child.  Chef Michael had dreams of owning a restaurant for as long as he can remember.  After a number of years working in unfulfilling jobs and a business he lost passion for, he decided to step out on faith and pursue his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant.
