HABUYA opened Dec 2010 by "Mayumi" who used to work @ Kohryu Ramen(Costa Mesa) or Hondaya(Tustin) as waitress and "Yuki" who used to work @ Hapi Sushi(Laguna Beach) & other Japanese Restautant as chef for passed years. This team makes the first Okinawan dining in OC to create great food & drink from Okinawa island, music, art and big Okinawan happy mood.

Mayumi came to America in 1990.She been working as server @ Japanese restaurant for 20 years in OC, CA since then. She worked as great server at most well-known & busiest Japanese restaurants in OC all those years, such as Genkai Dana Point, Hondaya Tustin, Kohryu Ramen Costa Mesa to learn and built her own restaurant someday....and HABUYA plan started almost 10 years ago.Meeting chef Yuki and long time dream plan of featuring Okinawan Food in Japanese restaurant business begin with him."Happy Healthy Okinawan Dining to the world....@ HABUYA"
