Idle Hour is a casual, neighborhood bar with a kitchen that features the best sandwiches, GF buffalo cauliflower and brunch around! Aside from the food, the bar is mixing up hand crafted cocktails, over 20 beers on tap, and even some cocktails on tap such as our Old Fashioned!

History

Established in 2015.

In 1941, Idle Hour's barrel-shaped taproom derived as part of the "Programmatic architecture" movement, which was a direct link to the rise of the automobile when business owners in the 20's and 30's designed their buildings to catch the attention of quick passing motorists. Idle Hour achieved landmark status in 2011, and after a three-year restoration, it is one of the last standing structures of this type in Los Angeles. Idle Hour serves Americana cocktails and fare that are a definitive time stamp reflective of its original era.
