History

Established in 1939.

In 1939, like today, surfers, and beach goers flocked to this part of the coast. The waves were better, and this stretch of beach was pristine for families to enjoy. After a full day of fun and surfing, the place to come and get big, delicious portions of food at a great price, was The Harbor House Café. Nothing has changed... In the mid 70s, a local, who surfed these waves, ran these beaches, and ate at the Harbor House Café as a kid, Gary Quick, bought it and kept his promise to Californians, and the integrity this place had come to earn. You still get big portions of delicious food, at a great price. Since 1939, the Harbor House Café has been feeding hungry Californians.

Ed, who took over on January 1st,  is a successful restauranteur from Las Vegas for over 30 years. Recipient of The Culinary Union Gold Star Award for Food Quality, and a leader in restaurant management. His obsession for cleanliness, and food presentation is clearly evident.
