After moving to California from Canada, Salima and her husband, Farouk, purchased Grill-A-Burger in 2012. They are proud to have created such a fun and quirky popular local hangout serving award winning burgers with the most amazing crew ever! But, in 2017, Guy Fieri discovered and exposed the team to a whole new audience, increasing their local popularity to an international level. Then the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives crew came back to shoot a follow up episode in 2022 and the place has been hopping ever since! The Nuranis have created a community favorite that continues to win awards and recognition. They love to post pictures of guest food shots and experiences to inspire those new to town to visit and join the Grill A Burger family!
