Follow Your Heart Market & Café is one of southern California's oldest, and best loved, natural food & vegan eateries and market. Located in Canoga Park since 1970, the atmosphere is both comfortable and casual. Some have described it as a trip back into the, 70s, but we prefer to think of "The Heart" simply as a place where people can feel at home and be their selves. In our market, we offer a wide array of specialty vegan foods, organic and biodynamic produce, natural wellness products & herbs curated by our knowledgeable staff, and a fun and unique gift section consisting of books, crystals, art pieces & much more! Our restaurant serves a 100% vegan menu of fresh pressed organic juices, daily-made soups, healthy salads, our famous burgers, sandwiches, and more. Follow Your Heart Market & Cafe is a unique environment which has been called by some 'an oasis'. While at first glance it may appear to be just another health food store, we have been thriving for over 50 years with the support of the many thousands of loyal customers who keep coming home to ‘The Heart.’ While offering a wide array of products, one thing which is noticeably absent from the store is meat. Since its origin, the founders of Follow Your Heart Market & Cafe chose not to sell meat, poultry or fish, in order to be consistent with their personal vegetarian beliefs. At the time, this was seen as an unconventional feature, but we stuck to our values and with the help of our loyal customers and community, we are now known as a landmark in the SoCal vegetarian and vegan scene. Since 1970, we have served not only the local community, but visitors from all over the world.
