History
Established in 1938.
Du-par's opened it's doors at LA Farmers Market in 1938. It is a historic landmark and a part of the landscape of Los Angeles. We are known for fresh home-style cooking and are most famous for our Award Winning Pancakes. Our "Hot Cake" recipe is locked up in the onsite safe. The safe itself is 75 years old, as is the recipe. We are family owned and operated. We are open 24 hours a day, we have a full bakery where we make our homemade pastries and pies. We have old-fashioned comfort foods like chicken pot pies, open faced turkey dinners, we make all of our own soups, salad dressings, and gravies. Our portions are huge!
